Substitute Teachers

Substitutes provide temporary classroom support by maintaining a safe, structured, and nurturing environment in the absence of regular teaching staff. They follow established lesson plans and daily routines, supervise children, and ensure continuity of care and learning. Substitutes must be flexible, responsive to children’s needs, and able to collaborate effectively with staff while upholding Head Start standards and policies.
