2024 Youth Leadership Graduation

The Forward Rabun 2024 Youth Leadership Graduation Dinner & Commencement was held on April 23rd at Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School. This year’s Youth Leadership team enjoyed visits to our State Capital, where they met with State Representative Victor Anderson and State Senator Bo Hatchett. They also toured Georgia Power’s hydroelectric plant at Tallulah Falls, learning about the history of power generation in our state, and Mountain Lakes Medical Center, where they learned about all the different career path available in the medical field. The student’s most popular visit was their attendance at one of Forward Rabun’s Vet-to-Vet Cafes, where they met with and interviewed our local veterans about their time in military service. All of these experiences have helped to expand these student’s perspectives and enrich their educational endeavors. We are proud to contribute to the futures of our best and brightest and look forward to seeing what lies ahead for these exceptional young people. Congratulations to all of our outstanding Youth Leadership Program Participants and their families! Also, a special “thank you” to Headmaster, Mr. Jeff Miles and Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School for furnishing a fabulous dinner and meeting space for this event!
