Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical garage door systems, with a focus on customer service and problem-solving. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining various equipment and garage door systems, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Duties
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on garage door motors, railings, and other operational materials.
Utilize precision measuring to assess performance, proper installation, and identify issues.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring timely resolutions.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex problems involving logic motors and other electrical components.
Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used during repairs.
Adhere to all safety protocols while working in industrial environments.
Experience
Proven experience in service technician roles or similar positions is preferred.
Strong knowledge the operation of motors, general building structures, and residential electrical work is essential.
Familiarity with scissor lifts and other aerial work platforms is a plus.
Experience with precision measuring instruments and logic controllers is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills in English are required to effectively interact with customers and team members.
A background in customer service will enhance your ability to excel in this role.
