Rabun County Government is led by a five-member Board of Commissioners. Commissioners serve staggered terms of four years and are elected at large from designated districts. Keep Rabun Beautiful

Keep Rabun Beautiful is an organization led by the Rabun County Chamber of Commerce that brings citizens and community leaders together to advocate for bringing an end to littering and to encourage recycling and other practices that support a more eco-friendly community. In 2019, the organization received one of 50 Cigarette Litter Prevention Program Grants from Keep America Beautiful, the leading community improvement nonprofit in the country, to support efforts to reduce cigarette litter in the county.
