August Vet-to-Vet Cafe

The August Vet-to-Vet Cafe was another big hit! Local Chick-Fil-A owner/operator Jay Couey provided breakfast for the veterans who enjoyed pastries, Chick-Fil-A biscuits and coffee while listening to a presentation given by Christine Collins, a local Veterans Field Service Officer (VFSO) with the Georgia Department of Veterans Services. Collins outlined a benefit summary of available offerings currently available to veterans and their families as well as outlining procedural steps for applying for benefits. Forward Rabun’s Vet-to-Vet Cafe is held every second Tuesday of the month and is open to all service men and women. Breakfast is serviced and a variety of informative and socially engaging activities are always planned. For more information, contact Linda Scofield at (706) 960-9865
